📝 Instructions

  1. Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes. Drain.
  2. Heat ghee in a pot. Add whole spices (bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon) and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook until golden.
  4. Add chopped vegetables, cashews, salt, and garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the drained rice and stir gently for 1 minute.
  6. Pour 2.5 cups of water, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
